As per title, wont start. Changed engine oil but still wont start. Suspected oil pump or oil pick up blocked. Would like to take sump off but cannot get to all bolts. Anyone know how to get to them and tools needed? I've spent ,£60 on rachet sets and all too big still it seems..

Update: Turns out it wasn't the oil pump at all and these engines automatically show the low oil fault if they don't start after a certain amount of engine turns. I did end up finding out the hard way as I took the sump off only to find it in really good condition with no work needed. I blame Google (haha) as these cars are renowned for blocked oil intake or rounded hex bolts but turns our mine was the good engine version with the decent oil pump.

All I needed to start my car was some Easy start sprayed in the intake while turning the car over so a nice cheap fix. Where I didn't use it much something had clearly become a little blocked.

Shame I took the engine apart but goes to show, always start with the simple things first. At least I get to make a video and show all how to take the sump off (video on how to take the sump off to follow soon as it was quite tricky)

Hi, yes it was just a simple problem. I used easy start and she started with no problems. Basically where she wasnt used that often resulted in the non start issue. No problem with the oil pump at all.
