Referrals were how I got started. And as you said, you have to earn the referral. The person who referred me thought I was a disciplined student and referred me to a client on a budget. And the rest is history as they say. Nice vid!

I also keep a folder of all the projects I said no to! I think its a really great way, no matter how long you've been running your business, we can feel insecure at times and a little reminder to calm down in that moment is all you need to reassure yourself that "it's going to be ok!" (Of course, if you're doing the work to market yourself and not just hoping for clients to land in your lap!) Love your videos!

I will be very happy if I can get to the next step this year with some of the points you highlighted Eric. Following your channel helped me to focus on important issues to get back to work and your enthusiasms lifts me through rocky periods.
