I'm Irfan Malik, I don’t come from privilege, formal education or training, but I'm a hustler, problem-solver and have manifested my success into existence.

I was born and raised in a small village in Pakistan. My family didn’t have access to basic facilities such as education, healthcare and employment, like most families in rural areas. My parents were torn between their personal and professional commitments. With low-income jobs that barely met our basic necessities, they didn’t have a lot of time or energy to spend with us, their children. As a child, I didn’t have much financial or emotional support or encouragement to try different activities and explore other areas of interest.

After analyzing these dire circumstances, I took it upon myself to support my basic education through sports. I started playing cricket and found that I was able to channel my energy through it. I started working in 10th grade as a computer operator with no background or experience in technology, entrepreneurship or business. The only thing that mattered at that time was WORK. I finally had a ‘JOB.’

With a job however, there were many apprehensions about whether I would be able to fulfill. Fear of food on the table, fear of bills, basic needs and so on. The immediate and SHORT TERM solution to all of the above was doing a JOB, then a little better JOB and so on. But for how long?

There were not enough opportunities for me in that small remote village to pursue my career in tech. I decided to move out and leave my home and family to take a chance on myself.

From an office tea boy to a computer typist, I have done many jobs to support my education. I even volunteered as an intern in a tech company, but nobody was willing to make space for me there. That is when I figured out that our society is built on certain constructs and that leaves under privileged people with little or no choice but to conform to them.

Through all these challenges I kept going because I wanted to give a good life to my parents who worked really hard as laborers throughout the life. Deep down, I knew I could do this and honestly, it was the only and last option for me. When you don’t have MONEY to bribe and any political connection here, the only thing that can rescue you is SKILL SET.

After getting my first free internship offer, I turned this into a lifetime opportunity by working 20 hours a day for 3 years to improve my learning. Soon I got an offer of associate software engineer.

I switched many technologies to make myself tech independent to start my own career but eventually, I stopped running from job to job and ran into entrepreneurship 6 years ago and never looked back.

Today, I'm the CEO, health-tech leader and digital solutions specialist of Xeven Solutions, a tech company that has expanded from 4 to 150 team members & 2 global offices in just 5 years.

Money isn’t the GOAL here onward. The only GOAL is to give it back to the community!

I prioritize honesty, discipline, and holistic well-being and make sure these values trickle down to my team and translate into my professional relationships.
