2:01 The only live action Batman that smiles and can still look intimidating.

Two of the things I remember liking about Burton's Batman when it came to his fighting was how untouchable he was and how he was able to easily knock out the bad guys with just one hit. The way he was able to easily dodge, block and counter attacks + hit his enemies without even having to look at them just made this version of the character feel more badass to watch than the others.
And keep in mind that he also wore the heaviest and most restricted Batman suit too (couldn't even turn his head) and yet he was still able to fight entire gangs naturally which is pretty impressive. Nolan and Reeve's Batman (especially Reeves) couldn't last long without taking a beating and felt kinda weaker in comparison.

2:03-2:06 I like how tim burton made the argument that the explosion didn't kill that guy, but that's kinda worse

Dude literally just went all against his code of not killing on the last one.

I wish we had seen more of this type of fighting in Batman ‘89. The first one really only showed a single scene of his combat skills & then showed him getting destroyed by nothing more than a common henchman in the end. This one showed not only how strong Batman is but also how skilled he is. I don’t like this film because it’s dark to the point of cringe & has no sense of fun whatsoever unlike the first one which was both dark yet also fun with no cringe.

There's very little wasted movement in the way batman chooses to counterattack the opponent. Everything is precised, direct, and executed to disabled the enemy.

Adam west Batman (runs around trying to find a safe place to put a bomb )
Michael Keaton Batman (straps a bomb to a dude’s chest and throws him down a hole )

Why is the fighting here better than “The Batman” and all of TDK trilogy?..😅

Great scene but it probably has the worst panning shot in cinema history at 1:10.
