Futurist/Minimalist Rangefinder design!! Finally, a camera company that gets that if they want to grab market share back from cellphone camera users, they are going to have to be able to do the same things; the Adobe Lightroom and 512 GB onboard are outstanding additions, and I think you'll see this a lot in future cameras in general. Kudos Zeiss!!

So this is how you innovate in the world of photography, create what on paper looks like a decent camera - lens and sensor package. Stick a 512 gb memory in the box, add a editing software and make it connect to the web by wifi.
Wow, this is the internet of things in a camera. Basically a smartphone without the phone bits but lots of photography bits. Impressive, and most likely expensive.

Now why is this important, well everybody else on the market are bringing in new and better cameras, and they are good, really good, but this, this is something else, this is how you make photos digital. The product might not sell, but it will change how we look at cameras for the future.

This is the most exciting camera in years!! Finally a German-made minimalist design, other than Leica. I guess it will cost more than 3500€ but I am so looking forward to the image results and the handling. I hope Zeiss will succeed with this amazing camera!

Futurist and brilliant design. All features compressed. All in one. If sensor “has been well chosen/designed”, as we could expected from Zeiss and joined with that magical lens, we should start to dream just now. But we need to wait the “marketing price”. It will compete directly in the niche of Leica Q and Sony RX1 Ethos and I am expecting a figure no low than 4500€. Congratulations Zeiss
