The highway 35 collapse was in Minneapolis, not Rochester.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY STATE! as a kid we were told about ALL these creators! as a kid Minnesota was surrounded in folklore we were surrounded by allot of tall trees and fields and Everytime you walked around at night during the snowstorms or just in general during snow nights it would instantly feel like something is watching you or if your walking around the trees it would feel like something is ready to pounce on you. i remember ALWAYS hearing whistles at night and i lived WAY OUT of town and was surrounded by fields and trees and would always get this chill that i just can't explain and you could hear LOUD howling noises in the distance it was terrifying. Also at night i would catch glimpses of red eyes about 3ft high or so staring at me in the distance from the fields and when by the lakes you would feel this urge that you shouldn't disrespect the lakes or not to venture into them.. it was a weird feeling but it was interesting to say the least as a minnesotian i must say you did WONDERFUL to tell our folklores especially about the thunderbird since im also part native and that bird had serious folklore surrounding it. the sirens are also true because at night if you would stand by a lake it felt like something wanted to pull you under i remember this one time i walked to a lake to catch a breather from my daily life and i would see these HUGE splashes of water go into the air and it was loud so i knew it couldn't be a fish and then some figures appeared further into the water where the splashes were heard so i thought it was people swimming (since people did that often in some lakes) but after staring for 1min to figure out what they were doing out there they turned and LOOKED STRAIGHT AT ME! but i was near trees where you shouldn't be able to see me so clearly so it startled me then i felt this fight or flight sense kick in so i left walking fast but not jogging or running because i felt if i did it would bring disaster or something bad to me after that everytime i go back to that SPECIFIC lake i get the same feeling and the water feels (how do i put it) rough but like harsh? i don't know how to explain it but yeah the folklore was hella intriguing and terrifying to say the least

Ben, you should enter the contest. Your videos are worth getting "out there" and that would be a great way to do it. Doesn't matter if you win (although that WOULD be cool), just letting other people know the kinda videos you produce, without a whole team of folks helping you, needs to be recognized. WE got your back, keep us informed if you decide to pursue this.
Who would've thought MN had this many Cryptids? Another great video, thanks for making it AND sharing it!!

So Mothman gets inserted into the bridge-collapse story *after the fact!* Jesus H. Christ, Ben, this poor red-eyed creature simply can't catch a break!

Might want to check your research there. The I 35 bridge collapse happened in Minneapolis not Rochester. I 35 doesn’t even run through Rochester. And I grew up on Cannon Falls. Never heard of any troll sighting. Just a park called troll haven.

What to hear a bad joke, a surveyor did some surveying between Minnesota and Wisconsin and discovered some interesting facts and knocked on this person's door and said sir I'm a surveyor and that I discovered that you're no longer in Minnesota the guy said thank goodness I couldn't made it through another winter in Minnesota.😁😜🙄🤣😂😂🤣🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

13:44 I may have heard the Hell Hounds when staying at Beaver Creek Valley State Park further southwest of Forestville. The coyotes were losing their minds when the fierce roaring was heard probably on the other side of the park. Awesome vid man, love the cadence in your voice! Take care.

Hi Ben. I actually saw the ICE MAN exhibited in the North Charleston Mall in South Carolina back in the early 1980s. I went home and looked it up in my Bigfoot book, because I had read that it had disappeared, because the Authorities were investigating it. However, when I went back to the mall the next day it was gone.

Ironic that the "Land of 10, 000 lakes" (even if we are actually closer to 15, 00) only has ONE aquatic cryptid

Interesting for a resident of Minnesota's tropical southeast corner. Just so you know, however, Interstate 35 doesn't run through Rochester or Stewartville, MN. In fact, I-35 is probably a minimum of 50 to 60 miles west via I-90. And that collapsed I-35 bridge was actually in Minneapolis putting it in the neighborhood of 80 miles as the car drives away from Rochester.
