I preordered Depression Cherry the day Subpop put it up without hearing a single song. I felt confident. Beach House has a good sound. Each album is a marked progression from their previous. Beach House is consistent.

I was not expecting this.

I remember when I first heard this song on Spotify, back when it was released that summer of 2015. I was on a 5-mile run when it came on. I had to stop because it was such a beautiful song. My favorite Beach House song to date.
