I love the fact that this is called "USSR anthem", not Russia's. Unfortunately, modern capitalistic Russia with its oligarchy and corrupted government barely deserves this anthem. Not to mention the fact, that the other 14 Soviet socialist republics are related to this Soviet great legacy too.

Our society works so hard to overproduce more food than we need, just so much of it can be thrown away
In many cities there are more empty homes than homeless people
Even during a pandemic, profit is a higher priority than human lives and millions of people will die if that's what the rich think is better.
Climate change threatens to kill hundreds of millions of people but oil companies refuse to accept a lower return on investment, so it has to happen.

This is only possible in capitalism, only in capitalism can we invent the solution to many of the worlds problems and simply throw it away if the rich tell us to.
