I love this, it comes full circle. Rocket has been denying what/who he is for this entire franchise. Only when facing his past can he fully embrace himself. He fully embraces ROCKET RACCOON.

I love that part because it took him 5 seconds to outsmart him. Rocket was always smarter than high evolutionary and that’s why he wins in his story

For years, fans were jokingly hoping to see Rocket interacting with his fellow racoons and acknowledging the species. The movie finally did, and in a more hard-hitting serious tone.

My cinema experience with GOTG was ALMOST perfect. I only had 1 complaint. But here’s the good part, that complaint had nothing to do with the film. It was PERFECT for me. My complaint was the dude sitting behind me. Dude was narrating to the dude next to him as if he WAS IN THE DAMN MOVIE! It wasn’t even good narration. He was always wrong. “Oh this is where they kill the enemy with this thing” and it doesnt happen.

They somehow made a meme line work as an emotional arc .

The foreshadowing from the beginning where rocket was testing out the Gravity Boots lmao

Bradley Cooper did an amazing job on voicing Rocket in this movie. I almost forgot that itwas him doing the voice acting.

My favorite part about this movie is that it doesn't rely on a world-ending or universe-ending threat. It's just about the Guardians trying to save their friend. Arguably the highest emotional stakes in any MCU film.

rocket finally being announced as “rocket raccoon” was so worth the wait just like when Captain America said “avengers assemble”

GOTG 3 - was amazing - and Rocket and his backstory - incredible. One of the best MCU ever. Thanks for the reminder of how good it is.

He finally accepts what he is, he isn’t an experiment, he isn’t a weapon, he isn’t an abomination, and he isn’t 89P13, he is Rocket A true born leader 🦝🦝🦝🦝

I’m so glad he kinda realized that quill knew what he was the entire time, and he finally found more of his species

God I wanted to jump and shout after this line. It’s so amazing to see Rocket go from denying of what he is to finally admitting it. This movie made me cry three times

Rockets victory also defines his status as a hero. Wyndham developed gravity tech out of insecurity over weakness and a need to control others. His arrogance prevented him from realizing that Rocket could easily and independently develop the same gravity tech, but instead of making it part of a violent identity, he made it into a simple piece of equipment designed to help save people. There was no ego, no need to be grand and over the top, just technology used as a tool for good. Because that’s what heroes do.

I love the Chekov's Gun of Rocket testing out the gravity boots from the first scene, which of course works because the High Evolutionary's powers are stated by him to be control over gravity. This guy has been, quite literally, throwing people around for the entire movie, and then Rocket just no-sells it in 5 seconds flat and puts his ass on the ground.

Anyone noticed that throughout the series Rocket has been using so many gravity based weapons and utilities. It all makes sense now. He knows how the high evolutionary would fight him. Rocket has literally been training for this fight since he left.
