There are a few main things to take notice of when trying to make sure ride a little bit more enjoyable in your Suzuki Samurai. The first main thing that I always do in order to achieve a smoother ride is to let some air out of my tires. On the street I will usually run around 30psi in my tires, however, when it's time to go play in the dirt, I am always letting excess air out of my tires so that they have the ability to soak up some of those small inconsistencies in the road.

Additionally, you can also do things such as replacing your stock struts with some higher performance ones, or take things a step further and do custom shock hoops and upgrad your leaf springs. I went with the Trail Tough EPIK TREK SPUA 4" lift kit on my Samurai.

The best suspension upgrade to the stock samurai you can do is upgrade the seats to miata seats. The stockers are horrible. 😂

Well done video! Good explanation and demonstrations of some basic stuff that makes a big difference. Shocks though...My understanding is that "bigger" shocks will increase damping (because that's what shocks do...) thereby actually causing a stiffer ride. So with something as light as the Sammi, you need a very softly / lightly dampened shock..
