A Type Laycock De Normanville(?) unit. I had one on my TR6 way back. Wonderful! Sometimes Issue with solenoid not moving lever that opens passage to allow oil in that engages sun and planetary gear. But when it worked it was heavenly!

Your car must be an earlier tr6 having 2nd overdrive. 1970 I guess.
