Love this hot take. As a young woman who hasn’t been able to afford Botox regularly (had it a few times), it is a relief to hear that it may not be quite as magical as the beauty machine claims. I feel I still look good for my age (32) but honestly, I think that’s down to good genes. My mom is the same way.

It's quite insane. I was looking for "anti aging skincare routines" at 22. Ive found that as i get older, i care lesa about trying to look younger. Im a 26 year old woman and i have no desire to look 19. Does that mean i will never consider botox in the future? No! But it does mean that im not afraid of aging like the internet wants me to be. I dont follow a lot of young people on the interest, most influencers i follow are 30+ and it has made a huge difference in how i view againg.

I started botox at 26 but just in the glabella and i must say my furrows were much deeper when i was younger then now at 33 i stopped cause im pregnant and was scared they would come back worse but there actually looking good so it does prevent and treat deep lines like mine were

I've had it a few times but I'm 42. I find that I have a constant wtf face at work at it helps smooth out the lines from that. It's a personal choice.

I am 34 and never had botox. My skincare routine is very poor (i wash and moisturise that is all! I used sunscreen though because of a very sensitive skin). I don’t have wrinkles in my forehead nor anything around my eyes or when I smile. So I guess it really depends on the gene and type of skin. My skin look exactly like in my twenties, there is no preventive botox. Just wash, moisturise and protect your skin! I don’t wear makeup too (especially foundation…) that might have an impact on the skin 🤷🏻‍♀️
