The videos on this channel about mysteries and unknown creatures are much better than many documentaries that cover the same subject that are shown on TV

I have a friend who went comping in live in Nebraska and so does he. Anyway he went with some friends and this guy just loves the wilderness, hiking, fishing, etc. We all met up the night before he left and he was he got back he was never the same person that I once knew. He said he saw something that was big and hairy and I laughed....I myself DO believe in Bigfoot,
but that only happens to other people right? I've asked many times since then to go camping and he turns whate as a sheet, starts to shake and gets quiet. I don't know what he saw, but he won't go into the forest, no camping, no fishing, no nothing, and what's worse, is that he won't talk about it! So that being said, I truly do think he had seen a Bigfoot, I have no doubt.

My grandmother had an experience in the early 1920s while working in a logging camp in Big Timber Montana as a cook. She was cleaning up after the evening meal. She hated being there close to dark because she said she always felt like she was being watched, this was about dusk. She heard a commotion outside and the men started shouting and running. Looking out the window she could see 2 huge beings tearing the camp apart. One went up on a inclined area over where they parked the equipment and was throwing full, 50 gallon oil drums down at the equipment and the men. It scared her because she had her kids there. It wasn't long after that that she left but, it was because my grandfather was killed by his CAT rolling over on him, there were no cages on them back then. She was the most honorable human being on the face of the earth, she wouldn't lie about it or make up stories. She never brought it up, the only reason I found out is because when the Patterson/ Gimlin film came out I asked her if she believed in them. She said yes and I asked why and she told me. It was the only time we ever heard her tell what happened. I have believed since that day. If you want to hear some true stories from the people who experienced them, check out Facts by How to Hunt. Great channel.

As much as I’d like this to be real (and it still may be to an extent) this did not take place in California. I can tell you by the trees in the shot that the forest is eastern deciduous hardwood forest, and not indicative of California and certainly not Yosemite. I am seeing oaks, maples and beeches mostly, this combination of species diversity is not located that far west.

Not an eye witness account, a well written story

A long time ago, back in 1976 when I was a young man of 17. My cousin Jake and I went hunting out on our Grandfather's 700+ acre ranch in East Texas. On this ranch there was about 200+ acres of thick woods that backed up to a national forest. It was a cool fall day in mid November, we decided we'd try our luck at deer hunting as our family freezer was getting a little low on venison. We liked to use a nice wooded ridge on the Southern side of the woods that overlooked a nice grassy clearing towards the North. This meant we'd be downwind of any possible deer grazing on this grassy area, as on this day, there was a calm breeze from the North. We sat with our backs against a couple of huge beautiful old growth oak trees. Grandpa respected the old growth trees on his property and taught us to respect them as well. We never harvested lumber or firewood from them unless they fell over in a storm or from disease. Anyway, there we were sitting under these old trees just quietly scanning the woods, waiting for a good sized buck to walk into this clearing. What happened next, I still can't believe to this day. If it wasn't for the confirmation from my cousin Jake, I would have shrugged it off as a hallucination or a bad dream. It started with the woods going completely quiet. I mean death quiet. No birds, no insects, no wind noise, nothing. It's as if someone or something hit the pause button. Jake looked over at me and whispered _"Do you hear that?"_ *"Hear what?"* I asked. _"Exactly! Nothin'! I don't hear nothin'!"_ he replied. Just then a loud crack erupted from the national forest side of the woods and Jake's eyes grew as big as saucers. It sounded like someone slammed the side of a tree with a Louisville Slugger. We both knew this was getting serious and in a hurry. Jake had his Dad's new 30-06 and I had Grandpa's old Winchester lever action 30-30. We raised our rifles and set our sights in the direction we believed the loud crack came from. I could hear my heart beating in my eardrums. The suspense was excruciating. I just wanted to get out of there, but Jake wanted to know what in the hell made that noise. To this day I wish we would've just got the hell out of there. After about 30 seconds that felt like an hour, we heard footsteps. Not hoofbeats but footsteps. Like a man running. You know, the seesaw pit pat bipedal rhythm of a human running. But this wasn't a man. It sounded like a damn bulldozer tearing through those woods. There was a smell in the air. I couldn't quite place it. Kind of like rotten meat mixed with sulphur. Closer and closer the sound got, louder and louder. It's as if this thing is about to pop out of the woods and into the clearing. My heart was in my throat, my mouth was dry and my hands were a sweaty, shaking mess. My brain is trying to rationalize what this damn thing is, but nothing fits. I'm frozen with fear. Just then the running stopped. My mind is screaming "RUN, you fool!" but my legs are like spaghetti, and I wasn't going to leave my cousin there by himself to face this abomination. No. Hell no! I'd rather die fighting, than do that. Ol' Jake was like a brother to me. I look over at Jake and he's got his right index finger up to his lips making the "shhh" sign. Then he points into the woods towards the North. *"I see it! I see it Jake!."* I whispered. Well, I guess this damned thing heard me, because it let out a earsplitting roar. Not a scream or a yell, but a damn roar. It sounded like a mix of a lion and an elephant. As it roared, the black mass we saw at the edge of the clearing, started to grow. The damned thing was standing up! Five feet, six feet, seven feet, eight feet, all the way up to what looked to be nine feet tall. It was at that point we knew exactly what it was. It was a damn...

Well, sounds like my wife is calling me for dinner. I'll finish my story later on.

I had done plenty of backpacking and climbing in Yosemite between 1972 and 1983. Out in the wilderness areas there were occasional strange noises but I never had any encounters with unexpected wildlife - thankfully.

If these 9 ft beasts smell as bad as they say, wouldn’t hunting dogs have a easy scent trail to follow. Seriously! So many stories with no proof dogs wood engage easily.

Ok here is something weird, as a child my family went camping in Yosemite in this time frame. As we were fly fish in a creek in the park, our dogs began to bark and act scared, My Father was a former logger and marine Corp pilot, he was used to outdoors and natural and this even freak him out. There was something in the tree line and he didn't want to stick around to find out what it was

Only a couple miles from the Appalachian trail in somerset Pennsylvania my friend lived in a small cabin about 3 miles from the trail. After a good steak and potatoe we had some coffee by the fire we started hearing trees snapping like a piece of machinery was making making its way through through the forest but no sound of an engine but the sound of trees being snapped . Not giving it much thought we went to bed. The next morning we went riding our dirt bikes and on the ridge above his cabin there's a section of woods where up to 3 to 4 inch trees were snapped off at the height of 8 to 10 feet from the ground. We never had any other such experience ever since.

For all of you who don't believe

I have come face to face with this monster and lived to tell about it. My mind has even created a name for this creature in my head, to help me get over my fright. I call it.... "Mother in Law".

They seem to know when guns are pointed at them. Probably the best reaction/interaction I’ve heard of. Putting the hands up could be a good practice. When they talk in their language, you talk to them in yours.

This video from the 70s look a lot better than today blurry videos. If BF is real park Rangers would have the answer to this elusive question. I don't believe an active park ranger would tell us but retired ones will give us that answer.

If the film you showed is what the ranger captured it looks genuine to me. I say this because the arms of the Sasquatch are long! They look to go past its knees. In sightings of a Sasquatch/Bigfoot people describe the arms long and reaching just past its knees.

What I could see of it as it was walking past the trees and briefly noticeable, you can see the arms are briefly visible, swinging them side to side and clearly longer than a mans arms would be. This is why I believe it looks real.

A Yosemite ranger in the 70's concerned about a wolf? Have I ever told you about my flying donkey encounter?

I believe all these stories are designed to keep people from venturing the great outdoors.
