Yeah. A fund manager I knew just disappeared from the scene one day. No-one knew where he was. About a year later he pops up in a Watsapp Group to tell us he's ok, and living on a small farm in the middle of nowhere. The farmhouse finally had cellphone coverage. He had a borehole, solar power, was growing his own vegetables, beekeeping and had a few goats. We all thought he was nuts and that it wouldn't last....
That was December 2019. Smartest man I ever met.

Fun Fact: one of the characters mentions that he was a lost soul once, and when questioned, his response is just “Tetris”. There is actually a thing called Tetris Syndrome which is when you focus on a game and put so much time and energy into it that it starts to invade your thoughts when you aren’t playing it. For example, I experienced this a few times but the one I remember I just kept seeing characters from the game in my peripheral vision.
