This is not a drain it is an irrigation canal. It brings fresh clean water to a farmers field so he can water it.
These types of canals are connected to rivers, that’s where the water usually comes from.
The fish however is koi and it is hard to believe that it made it there on its own

We have better land area but we have many problems like political corruption, unemployment, sexism and even our cities and natural resources are polluted!!!! 😢😢 but in japan the fishes are literally safe evn in the drain!!!!
