Audi A5 Sportback (hatchback) review - CarBuyer

The Sportback is the most practical member of Audi's stylish and upmarket A5 family. It joins the A5 Coupé and Cabriolet editions, but adds the practical appeal of four-doors and a spacious boot, accessed through a large hatchback. Audi claims the A5 Sportback has no direct rivals, yet both new BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class come close. And while there is much to recommend the A5's beautiful design and roomy cabin, you might not like the firm ride, and the Sportback is not the best A5 to drive.

I usually dont like car reviews done by womean cos they either come across as masculine or dont know what they're talking about, but this lady really does a good job in the few minutes that the vid lasts and she retains her femeninity

Im 5 foot 4 and a half... Who invented that type of measuring system. Its like, what year is it? Its 2 cities 16 roads and a quarter of a table.. it makes no sense to me :) Isn't it easier to say "Im 160 cm" or something like that? Other than the imperial measuring system the review is great and you guys are doing a great job at Carbuyer :)

I think the car would do well in the US market. They can replace the A4 sedan, for that matter. This is just a nicer looking car, and a bit more practical, too.

I love how when she started everyone was "fire Rebecca we want Mat!" and now everybody wants to watch Rebecca lol Anyway, absolutely love this car, and god thank you Audi for understanding people who want a luxury car may also want a stick shift. Id defintely buy this car!

I can not disagree more with her...when i test drove the S5 (which should be harder than just any S-Line Model) it felt quite good and not hard or harsh at all. Same goes for the Steering, very direct and good to drive. No wind noise from the mirrors either.

It was a lot worse in the 335i F30 i had driven as well. Lots of Noise in the cabin, poor steering and the ride was a little unsporty and wobbly (probably due to the fact that it had the standard ride only).

I guess we all feel different.
