This was a good test, I did a video on just the ADB2 and it’s performance, I don’t own a AD400 due to owning the ADB2 I kinda just took godox’s word that you would get the same outputs as a ad400 and I’m happy to see that is true. Great job covering the different comparisons.

11:25 It doesn't matter about being just a protective glass cover... the not touching the bulb rule is so that oil from hands does not get onto glass surface that heats up which then burns and browns the oil. It doesnt matter if it is the actual flash tube itself of the glass protective cover. Both heat up and can be prone to yellowing. If you want to look after your gear, use gloves or something so that oil from your hands doesn't transfer onto glass.

Aw man, you not only give the people what they want, you are charming while you do it. Thanks!

I have the AD B2 and I love it. I appreciate you doing this comparison with the AD400. I guess I'll keep my AD-B2. Like you said, the versatility of having two lights is a plus. Thanks again and God bless

Now that's what you call a breakdown. Always find value in your videos. Keep up the great work.

I love the thoroughness of your comparison bro. That was very informative.

No denying how flexible the AD200 system is. I own two of them from the UK brand Pixapro who I work with, also picked up the AD-B2. You can also buy a round head, extention heads, LED hed and just released a ring light.

Hey man - great video! My first time seeing you here, but glad the algorithm worked. I've been searching on Godox AD400 Pro all day (just bought one and trying to consume as much info as possible). Ultimately, I was looking for a breakdown of the AD400 but this comparison worked, just as well. Your presentation is spot-on; audio is perfect; visual depiction of what you're speaking on was in sync. Lighting/background - perfect. Content was extremely informative. I only hope I can attain this level of awesomeness one day. I'll be subbing -- thanks again!

Love your videos. Best photog YouTuber in my opinion. I love that it’s informative, fun… but not over produced.

I was shocked about you keeping things in their box.. for me all my ad200's are by themselves and I throw them all in one bag im not as delicate lol. but I love how extra you are with everything... for this kind of videos specially is so great to see! amazing work!

Great video, thanks for putting this all together. I have the AD-B2 with 2 AD200's and to protect the bulbs when travelling with it, I keep a snoot on it. I was pleasantly surprised by the similarity in modelling lamp output, thats great to know.

Nice gear comparison video bro. That ad400pro is nice. I’ve used it a few times but never got around to buying it. The size of it makes it a great addition to any kit. I love the ad200pro in single form, for its convenience and power but sometimes you just need a little more power. Great video as always bro.

Watched even though I’m not in the market for this level of studio flash. You are a boss when it comes to comparisons like this. For example, as a real photographer, you know that getting your gear on site is a key. When the security guard kicks you out, you gotta be ready to run!

Great video, really puts things into perspective!

You should time the setup with you rugged bag and keeping the bulbs outside the pelican bag which is how most people carry it. Also forgot to mention the ability to separate the two AD200s for more flexibility. But great video with real solid methodology thanks so much for this!

I thank u for the test and video. From a financial perspective at the cost of 2 ad200 etc etc. Its obvious to grab a used ad600 or one on sale if possible. However, for me I was gifted 2 ad200 from a fellow photographer so I just bought the ad2b adapter and ur video has satisfied my curiosity. Thank you good brother.

Amazingly interesting video about the AD200/AD-B2 vs AD400.

Thanks a million 😊

Only thing I missed was your thoughts about using the AD-B2 with two EC200 cables. I think this setup would be very helpful when using a boom or VAL (voice activated lightstand / assistant) because it makes the setup much lighter to hold/carry...

It's still the best video about the AD-B2 out there 😉

Thank you 😊
