If you have already tried calibrating the IMU and Compass skip ahead to 4:20

I discovered after multiple attempts to calibrate the IMU and Compass that I had another problem.

I was able to solve the problem! You must disable the PROPELLER CAGE option in MAIN CONTROLLER SETTINGS -> ADVANCE SETTINGS.

Thanks that was a helfpful video. I have done the re-calibration and it has improved things but still not completey eleminiated the problem of wanting to drift (to the left) when trying to fly completely straight ahead. That problem seems to exist more when flying at lower altitudes (for instance in the golf course videos I shoot for my "Golf & Tesla" channel) and requires a very smooth in-flight controlling of the controller sticks.. . Will tweak some more // Interesting by the way that you hold the drone at arms length while calibrating the compass. I have always just turned the drone on its own axis, as shown in a DJI instruction. But perhaps your "trick" is better.

The instructions say to do so without the propellers but in every tutorial video the propellers are on. My Mavic still shakes. Guess I'll try doing it with the propellers on next time.

Can I do it on granite kitchen counter tops? I did it over the dishwasher and it doesn’t hover great.

I've seen your rear arm replacement video, there are no cracks on mine. But the rear right arm is a little shaky, can it be tightened and does it help?

haha did anyone notice to skip ahead at 4:20 note. Sorry couldn't help it. Going to try this out, mine drifts soooo much unless i'm in sport mode. It drives me crazy.

Hi Camrann, my drone is unstable too. I had done the IMU calibration several times, nothing has changed. When it was crashed for the first time, it drifted to its left and didn't respond to the controller. The rear arm of it also is loose. From then onward its unstable hovering. Please, help?

Thanks for posting this. I am having the exact same problem with my mavic pro. It hovers just like yours. How did you narrow it down to the rear arms? Also, does the footage look shaky as well when you fly it? I have not flown it yet because of this issue. Thanks.
