Well I bet the difference would be even bigger if you use the same Vcore and same frequency :)

Sorry but this comparison
is useless. You can't do a comparison
with different clock settings. So the difference between Kryonaut and Conductonaut is even way bigger

The black 'Q-tip' applicators for Conductonaut are abrasive on the flattened end. Hold it nearly vertical and rub in a circle with some pressure applied. As soon as the abrasive tip removes the micro thin layer of corrosion that's always present the metal mixture will 'wet' and allow you to spread it. This chemical bond is what helps give the most excellent thermal transfer characteristics.

you need fix same Frequency and vcore for both tests

a few times i tested my cpu and gpu on gaminglaptop (msi laptop ge72) with same conditions: coolerboost speed, cpu and gpu load, frequency... result:
stock: cpu-95*C gpu-85*C
Hygronaut: cpu-80*C gpu-70*C
Conductonaut-cpu-70*C gpu-65*C
I hope it helps somebody :)

Huh, it's almost like you're trying to scalp linus tech tips viewers.

Who mistaked this for LTT, and thought did they really made a 4 minute video? 🤔

really like the comparison, was looking for something like this...

Listen bud. Use the same clock speed when testing.

I find that unless you take all the mechanical steps, then liquid metal is just a hassle.
Lap your CPU, use the contact fame, THEN go liquid metal. A lapped I9 Raptor Lake with a contract frame and Kryonaut Extreme, will outperform a non-lapped CPU with Condutonaut in a stock frame by 8-10 degrees.

Honestly they should show this application technique in your video, as a QR code link on the back of their Conductonaut packets. 🤔

Why are your overclockes not identical in both tests?

damn your cpu runs hot. 2700x at 3.7ghz managed to run at 81c?? bad cooler i guess

when doing a test with watercooling then 15 mins isnt enough, stress it for like 30 may even 40 mins

How long it will last for optimal performance?

Kryonaut seems like it has a curing period of around 48 hours from my testing; resulting in better temps over testing right away. Here are my thoughts as far as Coffee Lake goes on an 8700k if you're overclocking. Use Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut between the CPU die and a RockItCool Copper IHS for LGA 1151 (About 15% more surface area + flatter surface, and around 5c~ difference). Between the copper IHS and heatsink (NEVER aluminum, preferably nickle-based coating) use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and cover the entire cpu with a thin layer. You can get slightly better results using Conductonaut between the IHS if using the OEM heatsink (use scuff pad top surface in the case of liquid metal), but if using copper IHS there will be permanent staining. Not really worth it imo.

Conductonaut is more for delid stuff rather than be used as normal thermal paste
