The leads tend to have issues on these after some use and they’re specific to the model. Just be sure to verify your meter! I switched to the 87 with an amp clamp as my daily

My brother has the T6-1000, I still have my T5-600. Frankly, I'm not a big fan. It has a bit of extra bulk and it has a bunch of features I really don't need for my day to day troubleshooting. I also don't really trust the non-contact testing, and I'm not a fan of the contact on the back of the meter that uses you as a reference ground. For bigger metering, I use my 374FC, but for grab-and-go EDC metering I'll stick with my T5-600

I bought the new t6 -1000 with field sense and. Failed on amp readings within a year or so. Im a t5-600 guy for over 15 years and its never failed. Not sure what happened but i went back to the 500

I don‘t feel complete if I don‘t have my T5-600 with me. The best multimeter ever. I have other measuring devices for special purposes too, but T5-600 covers 99% of measurements I make

Could you do a test video or make a video after you have used it for a while cause I have this meter and I thing the ohm reading can be pretty inaccurate at times

I also have both the T5 never had an issue with it the new one with the field sense first time using it my voltage was jumping all over the place and did not trust it. But I blew the leads up on the T5 and now I only use my new one

Daily carry a t5, buddy has a t6. Great products both of them.
