As an old punker it's nice to hear a band that embodies the punk spirit while injecting modern sounds and channeling their inner Mr. Bungle. I'm not exposed to too much new music these days but the YouTube algorithm just shoved this in my face and the album cover made me really curious and I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked play. I'm just glad that there are bands actually making music that sounds fresh AND good.

Honestly what i like most about The Garden is their so different and have there own unusual tone which in music you kind of don't see a lot, but not only do they do it they also pull it off well which i think is even rarer to do and deserves so much respect for how good they are

Their previous album from 2020, Kiss My Super Bowl Ring, is so underrated. A perfectly punky take on hyper pop stylings with the manic energy of Mr Bungle or Zappa.

Glad to see he enjoyed this one, this is honestly one of my favorite records of the year- just such an untamed, feral set of janky and wild punk tracks. Really hope they keep going in this more aggressive direction, biggest issue with this album for me is how short it is, but honestly kinda glad it also didn't overstay its welcome. Loved their last album and this one just seals the deal for me

This thing feels like a time traveler with lots of wacky tech running through a loosely constructed and warped gauntlet of the past 40 years of West Coast Hardcore’s history, I love what these two fellas do, I’m still really thankful for you turning me onto them with one of your older reviews of them, Antny, they’re probably one of the most interesting and unique things going on in the country’s overall Punk scene right now.

I saw The Garden at one of their first shows at The Vault (RIP) in Temecula, CA in 2012. They did a split set with a local band named The Coltranes, weren’t even on the bill. Tore the fucking roof off, I think everyone was in awe, personally I was speechless. They were AGGRESSIVE. Played for maybe 10 minutes, announced the band, and dipped.

I’ve been following them since and I’ve always been excited to see their successes but haven’t been blown away by much of what they’ve done since that show. Haven’t listened to this new one, but you got me hyped!

Super special band, both on a personal and general level. So cool seeing them get a full review on your channel finally 😊
