Rewriting Ben 10 Omniverse: Malware's Revenge

based on @TotallyNotMark 's recent series rewriting dragon ball super. i wanted to give the same treatment to Ben 10 Omniverse. Covering the first two seasons of the series from The More Things Change Part 1 all the way to Showdown Part 2.

I wouldn't change much I would just add a flashback scene where feedback is unlocked

I heard somewhere that when ben lost feedback and the omnitrix no longer allowed him to transform into his speicies anymore, was because losing feedback literally made him lose a piece of himself in feedback

“So that’s how Kevin feels”

I would also change the vision he sees when he’s under the effects of big chill’s predator (forgot his name), instead of being cheered by the crowd of people i would have him see something more personal

I guess that DNA was secretly added into the predator Omnitrix just in case well the crab takes over and tries to kill them 😊

something id change in the opening is having ben in an alien thats identical to when his 10 and 16 years old so is a bit of a reveal that its 10 year old ben

the day when ben 10 omniverse almost got a dark episode just like alien force and ultimate alien, yet it was super awesome

Though i hate totallynotmarks rewrites this is pretty alright, it has some problems here and there but they're minor, You streamlined the plot a lot better. A great start if this is going to be series

I always saw the interaction between Younger Ben and OV Ben as a fragment of the old Prototype Omnitrix seeping into the Completed one, more or less asking Ben if it forgives it for losing the transformation. When Ben forgives it, the old Omnitrix would activate the transformation in the New one.

Does it make sense? Probably not. I just like to think Ben is directly talking to the Watch in that interaction instead of it just being him talking to himself.

I think my biggest issue with omniverse overall is just how often ben is played as an idiot for laughs. Ben was always hot headed and impatient, but he wasn't stupid. Especially when it came to using his aliens. I would have liked him to be overall more competent, better able to handle the fights, and not mistransforming.

I never did care much for Malware all hype for a mediocre villain, Ben could've easily finished him off with Lodestar, Echo echo, Upchuck, or Goop if wasn't plot armor, to me he should've been a one time villain only really, he's not really that original cause we dealt G. Mechamorph in Destroy all Aliens, and Malwares motivations doesn't make him stand out(being mad at Azmuth) like Albedo, or Vilgax wanting Azmuth. He's an ok Omniverse villain but they hype him up just really for Feedback who himself is kinda overated.

I have always thought that Julie and Eunice should have been involved in this story arc. She has Ship, and the Unitrix is a good version of Malware.
