The white van story reminds me of a true story about two serial killers Bittaker and Norris. They drove around in a white van called “Murder Mack”. They kidnapped girls who were hitchhiking and drove them to the mountains where they raped, tortured and murdered them. This happened in Southern California in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. They were very sadistic men who tape recorded their horrible crimes. They both died in prison from natural causes. One of the homicide detectives who worked the case committed suicide because he suffered from PTSD after hearing one of the tapes. Both killers died in prison from natural causes. They both should’ve been housed in the general population so the other inmates could’ve given them some street justice.
