VTDP as it is known, applies to tax liabilities accrued/derived in the period commencing on or after 1st July, 2015 but not later than 30th June, 2020.

I totally agree with this concept of smaller businesses that may not be included in the formal tax bracket to start contributing to remitting their taxes, an excellent idea. But what's the assurance that these huge monies are gonna be put to good use? we all know well of rampant cases of corruption left to right and centre when money is not earmarked to a certain objective/task. That might bring doubts and lack of confidence to those that may be willing to participate in this noble idea of voluntary tax.

Hi Caroline. Kindly find out for us if someone has a business that brings in stock via the post office and pays customs when picking the stock (usually almost 60% of the value of the goods). Are they required to pay any other taxes?
