Mad Mike's souped up drifting car - Madbull Generation 5 - First shakedown

Feast your eyes on the fifth generation of Madbull, the almost completely rebuilt Mazda RX-7 of New Zealand's drift racing idol Mad Mike Whiddett.

After six weeks of tinkering, it's time for the first test run which left him and everybody else looking forward to the next race.

i miss the first version of this car as far as style goes but the semi tube frame and other tech improvements are pretty damn awesome. finally making rotaries competitive again with all these 700hp+ drift cars.

not a fan of unique setups in drifting? How fun would it be to watch if EVERY car had an LS... this is my favorite drift car because of it's engine. The sound... I've only been lucky enough to hear Mad Mike's 20B in person but this thing must be pure bliss.
