Dear Maria, I'm 25 years old and I have been watching your videos at least for the past ten years. Currently I am struggling with my life, emotions and identity since a lot of unresolved childhood and teenage trauma has finally caught up to me and I entered a really really bad depressive episode. I have always struggled with sleep, be it falling asleep, staying asleep, and unnerving dreams or nightmares. The past few weeks I've been battling insomnia, I keep waking up after only 2-3 hours of sleep and can't fall back asleep for another 3 or 4 hours which completely throws off my rhythm - some days I start at 8am, some I start at 2pm. Last night was the same and a really bad case at that. My body was exhausted but my mind kept me awake and I just wouldn't calm down and relax internally. After going through all my saved watch-later asmr videos I had to go to your channel. And FINALLY, you were the only one able to ease up my mind and thoughts. I finally relaxed after not being able to fall back asleep for 4 hours. Finally, my mind just started going blank so I knew I was about to fall asleep and my eyelids started getting heavy. I woke up rested today and don't even remember any dream let alone an unnerving dream or nightmare. Your voice and gentle aura seem to be the only thing to calm me down these challenging days. I lobed your videos since the very first time I watched one. And I think all this is because your kind of gentleness and calmness was missing entirely in my childhood and teenage years. I really wish I had a guardian back then with your kindness and attentiveness. I only know chaos. You, and especially your kind voice, seem to be the only 'cure' to that. All I want to say is: Thank you. Thank you so much for all your hard and thought-out work you put into your videos. Thank you for calming me down. Thank you for your voice and aura. And just the biggest thank you for existing. I hope you see this and know that you make lifes better and bearable.
