Identical to torque drive outside of inferior back display

Ok, to anyone doubting about this vacuum, i bought it:
-Excellent suction power for any household, carpet or hard floors. More than you will need.
-No hair tangle AT ALL. I had a serious dog hair problem, and i can finally say its over. I had other vacuums before and hair is a hard subject because of tangling. Seriously i never thought it would be this good, not even a single hair gets stuck in the brush. Plus it comes with another pet hair attachment that is like a small rubber/silicone comb/brush, that its great for picking up hair of for example the bed of the dog, the sofa, etc, and the hair doesnt get tangled in it either.
-Movement is swift and natural. Happy with that too. Makes you even do it faster.
-it cant get easier to empty the dust canister than this. Seriously. Also, some say that the dust canister comes off too easily. I havent experienced that. You can take it off easily, sure, but that doesnt mean it would snap off with a small bump or something. Its firmly attached. Maybe if you hit it hard enough against something, it could snap off, but come on... you have to be extremely clumsy and careless to do so, and with a hit that hard i would be more worried about the thing breaking, than just falling off. Thats a tv shopping ad level of clumsyness.
-it has a filter cleaning system! You rotate it inside the canister and it cleans itself! Of course from time to time you will need to wash it, but this is really convenient, and makes you need to wash your filter less.
-if you have any other 20v battery b+d tool, this is a no brainer. The cost of the battery alone makes the vacuum even cheaper.
-Also, the wall mounting charging station is really cool! Now i can have all my batteries charged, and the vacuum always fully charged while not using them, out of the way and away from my kid.
-the vacuum stand by itself. I read somewhere a user saying that its flimsy in the standing position, so much that a small breeze would make it fall. My guess is that the user didnt understood the "locked" position of the vacuum. You need to hear a click both in sideways and forward movement. That makes you sure its locked and wont fall. As any tall and thin object, it can fall if you bump it or a strong gust of wind comes by, but that would be exceptional, and im talking like a hell of a storm wind, not a breeze or something. What i mean is i would never say this thing is flimsy and fall off easily. Maybe his product was defective? Who knows, mine is sturdy.
-maybe the seal isnt perfect and in the test smoke comes out of it, but i dont vacuum smoke in my house. I dont see dust coming out of it. The canister fills up, so i know im collecting stuff, and floors are seriously cleaner than ever!
-build quality seems pretty good. Plastics aint cheap, and the aluminum parts make it feel premium, sturdy yet lightweight.
-to me personally, it looks awesome. Not a boring cleaning average instrument. The metallic purple makes it pop.

CONS:
-the hepa filter. It doesnt have one. But on the other hand it doesnt say it has it. Of course i would prefer it to have one, and better sealing, sure.
But to be honest, at this price point i know i cant ask for that, without loosing all or some of the good things i said, which i prefer.

If you want to invest 2, 3 or more times the cost of this just for the hepa filtering, and even losing power, or versatility, or whatever i found good of it, do so. My guess is that if they added the hepa filter, it would make it less powerfull, and that would need another increase in price. But that is speculation. This product seriously is excellent as it is. Plus, if you wait enough, you can get it with a discount... i got it at 149 new from ebay... incredible.

Imagine how happy i am with it that im wasting my time commenting all this long here about it...

Can't completely agree with the statement made that the poor filtering is vacuuming back into the air. You're getting smoke and other very small allergens back in the air so certainly hepa sealed filters are better but the vacuum is still vacuuming all dirt and debris including most sizes of dust effectively. Great review pointing out the differences though! I do appreciate the details you put in.

That is not debris test! That's steam! You using a steam machine to simulate debris and that's not right.
I've been using this vacuum for 2 years on daily basis, I vacuumed flour, shoe powder etc and it wasn't coming out at all!! This is not a fair review.

You know what would be helpful in a pet vacuum review? Reviewing picking up pet hair… lol

Just bought one for $100 so as long as it makes the carpet look clean when I’m done (I don’t have any pets anyways), I’ll be happy.

Hello, I'm trying to decide between this one (BSV2020G) and the Extreme Pet version (BSV2020P). To me, they just look the same but the pet's version is more expensive. Funny thing, I've read that the pet's version runs out of battery faster than this one. It looks like it's pure marketing but maybe you can help me out finding out which is a better bet. Thanks beforehand.
