Great video! I would personally add that old ashtrays make great brush rests. I have one made of bubble glass that is shaped like a square and that's where I keep my most used brushes.

I can only agree with all the positive comments. Love the way you doodle to keep your creativity awake. I've had a hiatus but am coming back strong and your videos are sooo helpful!

How very helpful in so many areas ... esp to those of us who love your posts, are inexperienced at creating our own projects, but because of your multitude of excellent videos are evermore eager to try our hand at creating instead of just appreciating. This post should help us avoid the frustration that comes from trying but failing due to inferior or incorrect tools being used. TTTYFS !!

First let me say that I am at a point where I can't wait to watch your videos, I learned a lot and it also got me interested in artwork again. I have not work in over a year due to depression and your videos make me get up and focus on watercolor. Watching you paint brings me a lot of joy. Also I like to see what nailpolish you will have each time LOL. A big thank you, you will never know how much you made a difference for me in the past year.

I just started you. I love your style, love when you say "Oops" and carry on. I'm almost 70 yrs old and just starting with watercolor and am loving your style and your approach. You are inspiring me to have fun and experiment. This beginning set up is perfect for where I am. I never thought about having the warm and cool primary colors. Brilliant! Thank you so much!

Wish I knew all this at the beginning of my experimentation. Good to know why so much is going wrong. TFS. I did.

Thank you for all the inspiration and encouragement. I have had a blast painting balloons funny gooney birds and those little windows of opportunity I focused my last one on textures but many of them are plants and flowers leaves and tree leaves

Thank you do much CeeCee for such a wonderful video! I'm a new fan, and have not yet picked up a brush 😔. But feel much more knowledgeable after watching this video and if it wasn't late evening I might give it a go tonight! I am saving this to watch again and will be picking up my materials soon and trying watercolor! Thank you again! Laura
