To be honest its better that car manufacturers are preferring to use V8s and V6s for their cars now. It's not just a battle of how many cylinders and how many ponies it produces. It's now a battle of engineering at its prowess. Koenigsegg really did quite a wake up call to the other car brands.

Y'all have a really total misconception of "flagship model". Their v6 right now is a championship, race ans Le Mans winning engine and its amongst the best at the moment. I love the v12 too but Ferrari Always created their flagship with the best of the best of motorsport achievements of the period. The usual v12 is not part of it, its not innovative and its not what is making their cars win.

Here's what i think
The design could have been much more simpler and elegant just like how they went to great lengths to hide the spoiler on the la ferrari
This car should have been 12 cylinder only, thr fuel to the fire was added when people constantly praised the 296
