Gear S3 On iPhone: Just Get An Apple Watch

Smartwatches aren’t in a great place right now. Android Wear is stalled pending its big 2.0 update; Apple still won’t break out sales figures for its own Watch; and Fitbit is buying every boutique smartwatch company it can get its hands on. So when Samsung announced that its Gear S3 was finally ready to be used with the iPhone, I was stoked that maybe an Apple Watch competitor had finally arrived for iOS. I probably should have known better.

Thanks for this video. I have an iPhone 7+ and was one click away from ordering the S3 as I fell in love with it's display and stated functionality. I've had the Apple watch (series 1) for over a year and it is just too small and hard to read. This honest review made me think again about the Samsung.

I have the 7 plus and Apple watch 2 and have been thinking about switching to the gear s3 because of the Apple watch in my opinion looking like a calculator watch, and Samsung pay being infinitely more useful than Apple pay. Thanks for making this video and saving me the time.

Got my s3 and will never look at another smartwatch ever. It's the best smartwatch in the world(for me, a note 7 user). It's fit so nicely on my wrist, and my phone stays more in my pocket. It's a life changer no more fiddling with the phone in a social setting.. Just a slight pic on your ⌚. Dismissed notification or quick reply and you're back in your convo. Just please Samsung release a lil more apps, even tho I can say the few apps I've got are enough but it would be good to have standalone fb, instagram and some other social networking apps.
