The Twin Peaks (Season 1) Iceberg Explained

I feel like I'm going to dream tonight. Probably of Twin Peaks and trying to figure it all out. This iceberg is mainly just to cover this iceberg in terms of the first season of the show, because it's a very dense show. If it does well maybe I'll do some more Twin peaks in the future!

From what I've learned after a few rewatches, it's not as much about understanding the whole story like most shows, it's about just enjoying the beautiful and thought provoking cinematography/dialogue throughout the whole thing (like most of Lynch's work). There's still no 100% clear picture to the story which leaves you making up your own conclusions or letting them stay in mystery - it's fun. One of the best shows of all time.

I've been lucky enough to visit the R&R (Twede's Cafe) twice when I lived in Washington; I'm so happy to hear it managed to survive the pandemic. It's in such a beautiful area and well worth the trip to visit it, Snoqualmie Falls, and the Great Northern Hotel, too.

I think you may be incorrect about the diner. The diner did change owners in 2020. The previous owners had what you may call a Tweety Bird theme for many years. When Lynch came through in 2017 to shoot the return, the diner was transformed back to it's early '90s glory. However immediately after filming ended the diner went back to its Tweety Bird theme. I myself was in the diner and overheard the staff complaining about the giant mess that the Lynch team had left behind and all the additional work they had to do. Which really was just keeping the place more clean and organized. That attitude didn't last long because the new owners came in 2020. They restored it back to how Lynch's refurbished in 2017. They also have improved the back hallway significantly and the bathrooms. It is a bit of an adventure of the ownership of this Cafe but the previous owners were the ones that didn't like the show and what came with it as a business.. The new owners were actually big fans from my understanding. A fan also owns the Palmer house which was also used for filming the Return.

Twin Peaks takes place is Washington state. Washington is known for it's cherry production. I have 3 trees in the backyard that I do absolutely nothing to and they produce these perfect tart pie cherries by the bushel. They thrive naturally out here second only to blackberry brambles. They will literally grow like weeds.

Twin Peaks and the Twin Peaks / Movie "Fire Walks With Me" still freaks me out / scary in its own unique way.
Also i think the "Log Lady" character made a cameo appearance on a episode of "Northern Exposure".

The Tuna sandwich is probably just because David Lynch really likes to eat those. He legit almost eats the same thing over and over. Tuna, tomatoes, olive oil and another thing I can't remember. For lunch it's chicken and brocoli. Sometimes things have simple answers.

This video goes way too far in finding meanings where there's none in my opinion.
