Other ideas for endings:

Earthquake ending: in 1647 Santiago is destroyed by an earthquake, leaving the colony of Chile completely abandoned by the Spanish.

Parliamentarian ending: President Arturo Alessandri Palma's new constitution never gets approved and the congress seizes even more power, making Chile a truly parliamentarian republic

Admiral Merino ending: after the successful assassination against Pinochet in 1986, Admiral José Toribio Merino takes the presidency and turns Chile into a full military dictatorship until his death in 1996.

Baquedano ending: after the Pacific War, Chile annexes the southern parts of Perú, making Chile a regional power.

Carrerista ending: Patria vieja never falls and Carrera cements his power, turning himself the first president and Manuel Rodríguez his minester of interior.

National Socialist ending: in 1938, after the successful coup against Arturo Alessandri Palma, the Nazi movement appoints Carlos Ibáñez del Campo as the new president and establishes a Facist regime aligned with the axis

Pipiolo ending: The liberal party wins the civil war of 1830 and turns Chile into a full liberal democracy, with Ramón Freire as their president.

Kingdom of Araucanía ending: France succeeds in making the Patagonia into a french colony, and it ends being ruled by King Antonie de Tourens.

Northern and Southern Chile ending: during the civil war of 1891, the congress and President Balmaceda agree to split the country in two, making a presidentialist republic in the south and a parliamentarian republic in the north.

Cursed ending: after years of being considered nonexistent, Rancagua raises as a superpower and takes over the entire American continent.

Cursed ending 2: the world succumbs to a zombie plague, believed to have been originated in Talca.

Cursed ending 3: Raul "Florcita Motuda" Alarcón is elected president, turning Chile into an anarchist commune.
