Oh, the buzzer is back, nice :) I remember when I was working for a WISP (that's where I met MIkrotik's products and I'm extremely thankful for that), we had a script on every RB which played the song from Super Mario Bros World 1-1. When a field technician colleague asked me to show him, which link needed tweaking, I just ran this script. The new hires often bursted out with laughter when hearing it for the first time :D

I would love to see some GPIO. I realize it can be a money and time sink with protection, isolation etc, but just 1k ohm impedance on a few bidirectional pins could make wonders for interfacing with SPI, I2C, UART and external buttons and relays.

But I am thankful for your offerings, but as a customer I always want more :)

I was a bit sad after switching from a 1009 to a 2004, realizing it doesn't have a buzzer. Always played some nice tune when the pppoe session was up. Bring it back please, it cost's maybe 10ct. :)

Hello Mikrotik, please, make the same routerboard, but with m.2 slot for LTE modems and USB3. As i see, there is place on PCB for m.2 slot!

I miss the buzzer in new mikrotik devices... I still have an old 951Ui to just make sounds when requested by other devices

Something left out of the sales pitch: RouterOS supports running containers, so you can end up with a custom solution on top of a solid foundation, if your needs require it. The only thing I would love to see would be an internal USB header and a central hole for mounting customer-supplied extra stuff to.

Nice board. Wish it had native 2.5 gig POE in port instead of 1 gig. Although 2.5 gig SFP is a nice change.

What kind of sfp does it take. Can it be cis or Mikrotik? The buzzer is the best for rebooting/reformating board. Lora card is great idea for outage power msg. TY :-)
