Wow, I'm pretty impressed by the Q7...Outta the box it looks pretty damn good. Dimming control looked good also...I heard this is a really good gaming tv also as it was reported motion is good on this TV also...This really could be a great price to performance buy...

Hello, you noted you did a bypass on the Google OS setup and deferred to utilize the Basic TV option. Is this due to the reliability issues with Google OS or simply you prefer other add ons such as Firestick, Apple TV or Nvidia shield. Just wondering as I believe I cannot purchase another Google OS TV as the OS is subpar with no updates after the first year. I have an LG TV which is now 3 years old and has received over 10 updates during the 3 year time frame. However the picture quality on my TCL 65s546 from 2021 is perfect for my use and it does outperform my LG 7300 tv regarding picture quality. Thanks a bunch for your always candid reviews.

I just ordered one of these. I wanted to see if I can use this for OTA and see how the tuner works and use it unplugged from the internet. I just want a tv if anything else I will use my Roku box.
