Funny to always see the same message: "Xamarin: Loved by developers, trusted by enterprise". I have never met a developer who loved Xamarin and have never heard of an enterprise who trusted it. I have the feeling that all msft tools nowadays are developed by students, no one used Xamarin in the past and no one is going to use it now. After 6 months this video has only 3500 views... it proves my point.

23:10 Explain migration paths there re: not having _netstandard_ any longer. What happens if you still have dependencies on a _netstandard_ package? These are shaken fine on the tree indistinguishable from the contemporary targets?

45:00 Kind of a false promise, but whatever... Yes, it cleans up some. But for more elaborate, things, it is still somewhat busy, but the advantage is you can factor things nicer, chain together build props, etc, so on and so forth.

19:15 Only to *WinUI* (for _Win-tel_ )? So _WPF_ and _WinForms_ apps still stand on their on? Read: understanding _"what MAUI is"_ and _"what it is not"_ .

43:30 Would suggest, if the answer to _productivity_ was _"no, with caveats"_, the same would hold true for react native...

1:00:00 What are _"fly outs"_ ? Pop ups? When they have not been blocked.

Not sure if that's what you meant, i.e. IAlphaEntry, IBravoEntry, ICharlieEntry, and as long as they implement IEntry, that's fine to the consuming presentation layer.

30:00 Exercising proper SOLID principles, design for substitution...

Invest in professional microphones for next time. The speakers' audio is of poor quality.

XAML Sucks, C# Rocks, it's a bad combination, i prefer flutter for Android because it's easy to compose widgets together naturally inside the code, the XAML is a fucking mess that seem like it was designed to confuse people, and push away backend developers from writing UI, they thought it would be more natural for designers, but in reality it only make backened developers frustrated and designers often don't want to write code, dotnet team should really consider adding an alternative to XAML comparabale to flutter declarative UI and kotlin jetpack compose
