Square Bubble

Do square bubbles really exist? That's the question of the day and the answer is yes if you know the science secret. Square bubbles are easy to make and serve as a great learning tool as students explore the concepts of soap films and surface tension

Its actually a 3D model of the 4th-dementional hypercube. If it was truly a 4th-dementonal shape, the inner and outer cube would be the same size while fitting inside each other.

I never knew you could do so much with Dawn dish soap. Thank you Dawn! :-)

Spongebob doesn't need any of this. He brings it around town!

I remember the one time when I was little and I was in New York. We went to a kid's science museum (I can't remember the real name of the museum) and there was one part of the museum where you could the the craziest stuff with bubbles and I remember having a ton of fun. Bubbles are so simple, but fun.

No, MrAwawe is actually correct, it's a tesseract or hypercube which can project via shadow what a 4D square would look like in 2 dimensions.
You remove 2 dimensions, but you still get an idea of what a 4D square would look like (basically a cube with inverted 90 degree angles at each vertex) from the shadow.
But you're right, no one has any real idea of what the 4th dimensions would be like..

There would never be a square bubble without structural support because the air inside the bubble is going to go where there is the least amount of resistance.

Would something like K'nex work as well?

"Look at the square bubble!" Square is a 2 dimensional shape, a CUBE is 3d and what he is talking about. "Mom, college paid off." No mother, no it didn't.

Time is rarely treated as a spacial dimension, but for the sake of mathematics and simplicity, scientists like tyujyujfgjtyufrt5uyt sometimes do. Theoretically, we are all moving through the 4th dimension in a motion we call "time" or, more specifically, "duration." If one were to see a cube that is capable of moving in four dimensions, the shape at 2:24 would be that cube's shadow under 4D light.

I like how he made up the phrase "bubbleology". -ology means the study of something but I can't imagine anyone going to college to study bubbles.

When they put a bubble inside the cube the bubble solution almost made the shape of a hyper cube
