The best part of this video for me is that now after learning so much from all your other videos, I am slowly seeing the fretboard in a much deeper aspect than ever before. I realized something useful to me: I must reach a certain speed to really start to practice the picking movement that I need, because the forearm/wrist/fingers' movement changes with the speed.

I’ve been trying to increase picking speed for years with no progress until I learned to anchor my picking hand on the bridge. Once I did that I was able to properly move my wrist instead of my arm, wrist, and thumb. My speed increased immediately and is improving weekly.
