My brother in Christ that just looks like nuclear energy

Man you like Vergil form dmc. You need more POWER.

You can skip the conveyor belt and use the mechanical arm to move lava buckets and empty buckets to their designated smart chute. I made a steam engine that produces over 150k stress

I mean, gear ratios get the job done pretty good. It can start at like 1rpm and can stack up pretty fast, it does add a bit of stress but it is pretty easy for early game

This design is pretty good but I was able to make a 7x6x5 one by making it more horizontal rather then vertical so maybe try a design like that

There is a create addon mod that allows the blaze burners to gain fuel from fluids directly, no bucket required. Helps to shrink this down even more.

I use the mod create stuff and additions so i can add a straw to the blazeburnets so they accept direct pipe attachement so i have 2 level 9 boilers almost the same size as your boiler, very powerfull mod

Rn I have a lava system that has 9 buckets of lava coming from the nether.
(If you do a hose pulley on a lava lake it is almost always bottomless supply)
And that goes to an arm that powers my steam engine.

Kinda looks like another design I saw, but still really cool

Yeah you also gotta be careful. If you're chunk loading the chunks woth the engine you gotta be very careful because lava only drips within randomtick distance from the player (128 blocks) so either have a lot. A LOT of reserved lava or its gonna turn itself and machines off.

Those designs don't usually generate enough lava per minute to reliably sustain a lv9 boiler. Plus, you'd need to rig it to both a black start circuit because it'll run out of fuel the moment the player leaves the area.

It is not a reliable design for industrial applications.

If you want something slightly more reliable, you could use coal inserters and a giant spruce wood farm with a buffer vault to store coal so you can sustain the boilers for a while when you leave. Still would need to plan for possible black starts...

Is there a way of doing reliable lv9 engines that don't require random tick updates? (Which only happen within a certain range around the player)

You're doing a good job bro, but only of my machines are consuming 2x of thos lmao 😂

A create nuclear mod would be cool. Rare resources like plutonium and uranium among countless others, plus a plethora of craftables and I feel like with creates current format a nuclear adaptation or even addon would be not only viable but a really cool addition to an industrialized Minecraft world

Open the hood of your car, this is what it looks like lmao

I usually use a hose pulley in the nether to pump infinite lava and bring it to the overworld by dropping buckets through a nether portal.

If u need more power than that its better to make a giant blaze cake farm and the steam enigene separat doing that design u did multiple times would take up more space then just doing it seperat

It looks like a steampunk engine in a giant airship
