The rise in home insurance costs, especially in high fire risk areas, have left many frustrated and confused.

Those feelings come as some big insurance companies have decided not to issue new policies in California. While it might seem like options are running low, experts say there are solutions.

How can CA Fair Plan offer a rate valid for 30 days to accept and two days later upon acceptance within the term increase the offered rate?

We just got another “We’re giving ourselves a Raise” letter from State Farm. Our little town of Three Rivers just outside Sequoia Park hasn’t been this fire safe in over 30 years. Between the SQF and KNP Complex fires have consumed practically all the Fuel. PLUS the long abandoned and under maintained access roads have been not only refreshed, but mapped. No thanks to the state or Federal Governments. Then there’s that pesky little FACT that CalFire has NEVER lost a home in Three Rivers to a Wildfire. EVER. Not once. We are being taken advantage of by Rich Bureaucrats. And they aren’t even ashamed of it.

Stay FAR AWAY from the "fair plan" .. It is WAY WORSE than people think.. It has a very low cap that it pays and people say that state will try to own your property if you file a claim and get a payout
