Aaah so that’s how they make fog for films, I thought it was something like that but I’ve always been *hazy* on the details

They sell plastic tube for temporary ventilation in the asbestos abatement industry. It connects to a big hepa filters squirrel fan as big as a furnace. You can distribute air through a manifold as well.

I made a "tube of death" using trash bags. Instead of smoke, we were moving heat out of a data center that was undergoing a cooling emergency. We did not make the cuts every 2 feet, we opened the end. We chained bags together with duct/box tape after cutting the bottoms off, it was fast and worked well using things on hand. And I used this several times over the years.
