Thanks for all the info folks. Sorry for the frustration! Y’all beating me up in the comments 😅

I’ve had no issues reacting to just the audio in the past, I guess I really needed the lyrics on the screen this time during a first listen, like yall had.

The fact he fully believes this is still Odysseus untill about the third song just shows how good Miguel is at matching Jorge's singing lmao

"DON'T YOU DARE CALL MY MOTHER A TRAMP!" I love the ferocity in his voice.

Zeus' game was that Athena would have to convince each of the gods he mentioned, OR HIM. So after convincing Hera, the last one, Athena won and Zeus lost, but being the sore loser he is, he chose to smite her.

The person you hear singing in the first three songs Is Telemachus who is Odysseus son. And in little wolf he is fighting Antinous who is one of the suitors

Apollo is god of the arts and music. That is why he cared about the sirens.

The full timeline for the show
Trojan war- 10 years
Troy Saga to Underworld Saga- 1 year
End of Underworld saga to end of Thunder Saga- 2 years
Wisdom Saga- starts 7 years after thunder bringer from TELEMACHUS pov in Ithaca for the first three songs. The man he fought is Antinous, ringleader of the suitors trying to court Penelope and making Telemachchus life a living hell
By this point Ody has been away for 20 years.

In Love in Paradise, we find out he survived the encounter with Zeus but became a prisoner to Calypso for 7 years. Not mind control, no memory manipulation. Just Goddess and mortal power dynamic with a spell forbidding him to leave. Along with all the isolation, survivors guilt, and everything else else, yeah he's not well

When Calypso says “open arms” Odysseus actually has a PTSD moment because he’s remembering Polites, which is why we hear Polites say the lyrics from open arms, but we also hear Odysseus audibly frustrated and pained by those words. Truly amazing writing here!

"Pathetic and weak like his son!"

"HOLD YOUR TONGUE NOW! HIS SON' MY FRIEND!"

I can almost hear morgan freeman in the background "It was at that moment Ares knew he fucked up."

That Guy called the Queen, his leader! A Tramp?! Telemachus had the full right to sentance him to death as the Prince of Ithica.

So in the mythology Zeus threatened Athena if she involved herself in the Trojan war I believe that he would hurt her so badly it would take 10 years for her to heal. Like Calypso said, goddesses can't die. So Athena even despite the pain fought against her dad on this to bring Ody back.

Telemachus' voice actor is so amazing in Legendary 💕 You can tell he's gonna grow up go be a hero just like his Dad

This newest Saga is kind of told out of order, timeline wise. After Thunder Bringer, Odysseus washes up on the island of Calypso, Ogygia. Ogygia sort of exists outside of the known world. So, while there, Odysseus is hidden from the sight of gods that would be looking for him like Athena. For the next 7 years, Odysseus is trapped on Ogygia with Calypso, forcing herself on him not taking no for an answer. That's the song Love in Paradise.
Meanwhile, Odysseus' son Telemachus is on Ithica dealing with the suitors who are trying to marry/rape Penelope, he gets into a fight with the leader of the suitors and Athena comes to him to assist and repent for her abandonment of Odysseus. The songs Legendary, Little Wolf, and We'll be Fine. After We'll be Fine, Athena goes looking for Odysseus finally seeing him when he calls her name at the end of Love in Paradise. Athena then goes to plead with Zeus to free Ody from Ogygia and Calypso's grasp. The song God Games.

Everyone’s mad at you and giving you grief for not clocking that it’s Ody’s son not Ody in these songs but I’m laughing. It’s okay Dave. You did your best with your knowledge at the time.

"You all know I'm a fan of catchy songs, with so many sirens gone, I think Ody's in the wrong."
Apollo is the god of the sun, yeah, but he is also (among other things) a god of music. The sirens' songs are hypnotizingly beautiful, so I'd guess that is the reason why he cares about many of them being gone.

10:45 First and Second song takes place in Ithica, Thelamacus being the main protag here and Antinous (correct me if I misspelled the names wrong) is Penelope's Suitor, Athena comes to Aid Thelamacus the same way she did for Ody back then
.
Hope this Helps, Dave!

Fun Fact, Apollo was NOT the god of the Sun at the time, Helios was. He was a god of Medicine, Prophecy and Music until Helios retired and Asclepius took the mantle of God of Medicine.

Also Zeus has always been a bit of a softie on Athena compared to most of his fellow gods. Hell he gave Athena the Aegis Shield apparently something he once wielded. She'll be fine.
