Everyone’s talking about how “sad” he was when saying Toro Rosso but I feel like Pierre is happy as shit being back on a team with no pressure. His results speak volumes too.

I think Pierre Gasly is one of Japan’s favorite drivers. His Super Formula history was awesome! Also he was proving on 2018 that Honda was back in the game while defending the car and power unit package.

Why do I feel like the people filming the video specifically asked him to name the team he drives for😂

I was wondering why they chose Pierre for Japan, then i remembered he was leading the Super Formula championship when called with Torro Rosso.

He’s definitely happy to be back at Toro Rosso. It’s like seeing Kimi at Sauber, he’s way more natural and happy now. Good for both of them, one is easing into his career and one is I hope not) easing out of it. I like seeing the drivers happy, makes the excitement I feel on race weekends increase tenfold.
