Behold the Lamb - Ghost Ship / feat. Shay Carlucci / Live Worship Music / Bible Songs / Modern Hymns
Показать описание
The lyrics of this song come from Cam’s personal vision of what it means to “lead worship.” In John 1, we see John the Baptist standing on the side of the road with two guys and then Jesus walks by. John physically raises his hand, points at Jesus, and says, “Guys look! There’s the Lamb of God who will take away the sin of the world.” The two guys physically turn, and start following Jesus down the street. They follow him the rest of their lives.
I think that’s what leading worship is. It’s pointing to Jesus and calling people to respond to him.

Behold the Lamb of God
By Cam Huxford
I've heard of you, how you hung the stars
Though you hold all things, your hands are scarred
I've heard of you, how you laid the earth
But you spilled your blood into this dirt
I've heard so many things, but now I see
Behold the Lamb Of God, who takes away our sin
Behold the Lamb Of God, now fix your eyes on him
I've heard of you, how you set forth time
But you walked with us, you lived and died
I've heard of you, how you sent a flood
But you washed us clean, with your own blood
I've heard so many things, but now I see
Behold the Lamb Of God, who takes away our sin
Behold the Lamb Of God, now fix your eyes on him
The God who's over us; he is here now with us
The God who reigns above; he is the God who loves
The God who is our judge; is he who pleads for us
The God who who gave us life;
He is the God who died
He is the God who died
I've heard of you, how you made the earth
But you drug your cross through this dirt
Behold the Lamb of God
Lyrics inspired by John 1
John 1:35–37
Jesus Calls the First Disciples
The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. (ESV)
