Do you all ever listen to music and just cry. Not from being sad just happy. Memories of life and how blessed you are to survive in this world we live in today.

Grew up in this era, my first rave was actually underground, under a big pub inside all the old wine cellars it was huge, they ran underneath the streets aswell as the pub.big tunnels underground.1988 I think or 89.first time I did ecstasy, no posers, no phones, no fights, nobody drunk and stupid.just peace n love.i miss those days.those days are gone for good.sad really but glad to have experienced it

I'm from East Orange, New Jersey and this house music takes me back to Zanzibar, Clubb 88, Sir Richards, Bogies, Sensations (downtown Newark), Paradisio's, Peppermint Lounge, Eleganza ❤️‼️. That was when the music was "Bangin'". Everyone on the floor. No fights, no anger issues. You went out and came back home safe. Of course after eating breakfast at White Castle or a dinner. I'm 64 years old now and I surely miss those days. Thank God for House music and YouTube. As Michael Jackson used to sing "remember the time" 🎶
✝️❤️‼️

So grateful for having lived in NYC in that glorious clubbing era.

The universal theme here is that despite our differences, music is what united us all.. one beat, one sound, One People.. 🎉😢 good old days. This new generation will never understand 😢

We partied to house music at a nightclub called The Catch One in L.A. and i was dancing 3 hours straight, sweatin my a$$ off creating my own dance moves with the beat of the song. It was so much fun. You just go out on the dance floor with someone or by yourself and enjoy this great MUSIC!!!! I am so happy I was part of a generation that danced and appreciated underground House Music. Original Underground House Music Lives Forever!!!!

Sound Factory, Limelight, Kilimanjaro, etc. Truly a great time for House music when NY was alive.

Great selection of absolute bangers!
I used to travel the length and breadth of the UK with friends seeking out the best clubs and DJ’s. 4 of us packed into my friend’s Cavalier SRi with blankets and a change of clothes! Sub-Club, Tunnel and Arches in Glasgow, Mint, Ronson and Basics in Leeds. Hacienda, Cream, Rockshots, Shelley’s, Renaissance gigs in stately homes, Moneypenny’s, Colours in Edinburgh and of course, our annual trip to Ibiza!
The greatest of times meeting the greatest of people!
I’m truly blessed to have been part of the House music movement.
God made us phunky and I’m glad He blessed us this way…
