I'm impressed John, with the tone, the noise levels, and especially the touch sensitivity - oh, and the price 😀

Thats a tasty little box, sounds great, would like to hear it into the effects loop return of an amp. great review.

There are two amps that I want to own. One of them is an Amp One. I've watched Thomas Blug dial in many awesome tones that are identical or super close to many other amps. If you can't get a rock tone from an Amp One, you just need some assistance from somebody, because the sound you want is in there. With 100 watts of power in such a small package, it is infinitely useful. Adding an EQ pedal or a drive pedal of your preference would definitely make your tone dreams come true with an Amp One.

He does make a high gain version for those who are into metal.

The second amp that I want is a 5 watt Joyo Sweet Baby combo that is a recreation of an older Fender Champ amp. Unfortunately for me, I live in a shared space and must use headphones or no amp at all to play electric guitar.

Wow, that actually sounds bloody great

That pedal sounds great to my ears!
I've got the Joyo British Sound pedal, and the "voice" control baffles me. Having a hard time getting the sound I want.
This is straightforward, and seems to hit the mark right out of the gate.
Speaking of which, no gate, no hiss.👍

I’ve looked at this one and watched Guitar Max do a review of the Nu-x MG101 yesterday. Your demo produced the tones that I’m looking for ( the Marshall soundtrack of classic rock), but here in the states it sells for $149 new. The least expensive I’ve found is about $115 (used). The Nu-x is being promoted as an amp modeler, looper, drum machine, multi effects (with lots of amps including vox, plexi, etc.) and looks like they have two resembling Marshalls called “Brits”. Also Max called it a gateway to the pedal world. It also sells for $119. So in looking for the best kit to replicate 70’s guitar tones on a budget, what would you suggest is the best to go with? TIA

Geez. A guitar and 2 cables plugged into a PC or laptop and a couple of reasonably priced monitors. Add this pedal and you're pretty much done. Great demo and review, John, and I would love to see a shootout between this and the BUG in a blind test. (Sneaky way of getting more Dougal footage!)

Love the sound you are getting there, what speakers are you putting it through? Also I really hope you try it with a couple of pedals just to see how it does, when you do your final review.

You certainly can't beat a little bit of fur around the edges. I recently bought the TC Combo Deluxe 65', great clean sounds and reverb. My Nash Strat has never sounded more Strat like.

I was looking at this pedal last month and got it out of My system. Now I got a new case of G.A.S. again, Thanks John 😀

Thank you John. I want to go off track and ask you something: Have you ever done a video and ongoing argument in the difference in sound between a maple neck and rosewood guitar. Do you believe it makes a difference? Just wanted to get your expert opinion mate.

Thanks, John.
It's dawned on me from watching your videos that you always appear to be recording direct from your Blue Guitar Amp One, into your computer etc and not from a mic'd up amplifier.
I assume that there are noise restrictions where you live? If so have you done any videos on how to be a silent musician/ teacher?

5:05 “More Thrangy” and “Less Thrangy” should 💯 be official stomp box settings! We need a John Robson signature pedal! 💪😎👍

In my opinion I prefer the Marshall to the Blug.

I dug out my old Ammoon American Sound (same as the Joyo) and recorded with it the other day. Forget how great it sounded. There’s a lot to be said for these amp sim pedals

Just checked the pedal out at Andertons and found out they do versions for a Fender Blackface 65 and a Vox ac30. Much more interested in those but I'll, have to try to find a review on another channel. Can't imagine you'd ever try them out 😂😂😂

Is this a full amp like the orange terror stamp?

Want a pedal for a Marshall Plexi sound - Electroharmonix Glove OD. £64 and it won the Andertons blind test
