DSG Reset/Adaptation ~ No credits required. Procedure in description.

Posted because I had difficulty finding this procedure.

DSG Reset Procedure.

~Vehicle on (turned over, motor running).

~Transmission - Live Data - Search "temp"
Verify transmission fluid temp between 30*C and 100*C.

~Transmission - Basic Settings - Verify values - "Not Active" and "Not Available" Depress Brake - Hold ✅.
**You will hear clunking and feel shifting**

~Indicator of completion will show where "Not Active" was formerly.

Complete.

Please note: Some cars may require you to have your hood open for this

Looks like you need the PRO version of OBD eleven to do this. Just tried on basic and instantly pops up "upgrade" on that screen. Just an FYI for anyone looking... '17 Alltrack

Worked perfectly for my 2017 Golf R. The car had been really hesitant to downshift lately and shifts were sometimes slow/hard. Feels normal again now - hopefully it lasts. Thanks!

Been sitting for nearly 10mins also didn't get confirmation of procedure ended. Maybe I missed that part, but the car has to be running. After that the clunking took place and got procedure completed

I tried this on my 2016 RS3. I had a similar issue where it finished the reset but was stuck in the reset screen. So I had to force the stop.

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. There doesn’t seem to be too much info out there.

hi. I have a 2015 Golf with a 7-speed DSG. Every time I drive on a bumpy road, it either downshifts or stays in the same gear, causing high RPM. Is it possible to configure this in OBDeleven?
