When making music there's a massive difference between appealing to the masses and appealing to oneself. I have so much respect for Bassnectar because, aside from already being an amazing musician, he makes music for the sole purpose of making it. Who else would add amorphous bass to a Pennywise song? Criticize him all you want, he's staying true and NOT selling out like most other artists nowadays.
