Hi, is this mirror viewing ? So whatever I’m watching shows on the tv? But what if my dad changes the channel downstairs it would change my channel, also how do you choose to stream from only certain boxes, I have a main sky q box as well as two mini boxes

Hi mate, good video, I have poor internet speeds and streaming is pretty awful so I just want to make sure Sky Q works the way I think it does before I buy it.

Am I right in saying if you are in your home it takes the picture from the sky Q box via the sat dish and sends it to my iPad via my internal network. There is no need for any internet connection as the picture is coming from the dish. Is that correct?

it can't change channels whilst it's already watching something because the video launches in another video viewer that's part of iOS.

I am having problems with my sky q app it was working brilliantly a few days ago and i could do everything i could on my TV.
Though unfortunately it has stopped working now and i keep getting a error code 50-9.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
