HOW TO LIVE FOREVER
Director Mark Wexler embarks on a worldwide trek to investigate just what it means to grow old and what it could mean to really live forever. But whose advice on immortality should he take? Does a chain-smoking, beer-drinking centenarian marathoner have all the answers? What about an elder porn star or the world's oldest person? Wexler contrasts these unusual characters with the insights of health, fitness and life extension experts in his engaging new documentary, which challenges our notions of youth and aging with comic poignancy. Begun as a boomer's quest for the fountain of youth, How To Live Forever evolves into a thought-provoking examination of what truly gives life meaning.

Featuring: Ray Bradbury, Phyllis Diller, Ray Kurzweil, Jack LaLanne, Willard Scott, Suzanne Somers

I aspire to be like this man when I'm older. Great example of how your mindset, attitude, and outlook effect your overall health.

"I'm not like you people...normal..." Greatest quote from a smoking, drinking, beef-eating 101-year-old!

I seem to remember this guy on a documentary. He failed to provide any documentation of his age and I can't remember or not, but I'm sure they said he was in his 70's at the time.

I saw the tv show about him and some other folks and i have to say, hes fucking awesome..

I loved especially the fact that when hes asked if hes had a heart life, being in wars and living this old and seeing people die and he replies NO.. i dont know about you, but id say most people would go all arrogant and go "yes, ive had a hard life" but he goes the exactly opposite and claims hes had it easy rofl

I seriously want to move in with this guy and become his best friend. The shennanigans we'd get into would become the stuff of legends.

@WexlersWorldInc Well, let's put it this way... I'm 23 now and one of my goals is to be over 100 and still running like Buster. I've completely changed my diet/lifestyle-- eliminated unhealthy foods, eat VERY healthy foods, and am always learning how to live longer. And it's interesting how much alcohol he seems to drink as well as smoking-- it boggles my mind. He's gotta be eating an ultra healthy diet, sleeping well, and be well socially connected. I'm hesitant to blame genes for longevity.

An old 98 year old chap at work told me. If you want to live a long life then you keep it simple. Avoid stressing over bullshit. Only do what makes you happy. His thing was religion.

I knew my doctor was full of shit when he said my drinking and smoking would kill me one day. Life is starting to look a lot better knowing I have a chance to be this guy in 70 years.

He was older than 85. He was most likely 97 at the time of his death. And he may have honestly not known exactly how old he was. He MAY have been 104 when he died, but probably not.

However, I do think there was a lot admirable about him. I like seeing/hearing him talk, I just get a good feeling about it.

My hero for sure, beer and tobacco it's the only way to comfortably make it to 100 and beyond . Beer is packed with nutrition, FACT . Tobacco has anti inflammatory properties again FACT .

Ha! I'm kind of like Buster. I'll stop in the middle of a workout for a cigarette break.
