Aspect Patterns in Astrology: Meanings Explained

In episode 266 astrologer Carole Taylor joins the show to talk about aspect patterns in astrology, such as the T-square, grand trine, and yod.

Aspect patterns occur when three or more planets are aligned with each other in a chart through close geometrical configurations.

Carole is the author of my new favorite introduction to astrology book, titled Astrology: Using the Wisdom of the Stars in Your Everyday Life, which contains a brief chapter on aspect patterns:

We spent the first 30 minutes of the episode talking about Carole's background in astrology and her book, and then at about 34 minutes we transition into talking about aspect patterns.

I am deep contemplating while listening to this fascinating podcast, and thinking of astrology as revealing the subconscious mind and its operations. The subconscious mind is hidden without astrology. It’s powerful to be able to pull back the veil. In addition, once revealed, pressure points can be relieved and/or purposefully harnessed. I can see bi-wheels as particularly helpful in facilitating relationship dynamics. Without astrology, so much remains unknown.

I’ve been doing charts since 1968 and have used chart patterns. I studied with Rudhyar and Gavin Arthur. I have a Locomotive and Kite. I’ve all the aspects mentioned.
